The chapter list was constructed by surveying publicly available materials on scientific Python for readers coming from R, including Wes McKinney’s Python for Data Analysis, Jake VanderPlas’s Python Data Science Handbook, the pandas and NumPy documentation, and the reticulate package documentation, and adopting the topics common to the majority of them.
